Yesterday I spent some time reading an old book about Adoniram Judson. One of the things mentioned in the book was that the early missionaries used to spend their time talking about the Triumph of the Cross.
Last night Wayne Cooke preached in Cabbagetown. God blessed with two young men accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It was a wonderful evening.
Scott Newton is doing a great job with the music. Cindi Shane is doing great on the piano. The young ladies that sing are being used of God.
It was a very special evening and I thank God for how He is using our people for the Triumph of the Cross.
Thank you to all of you who are working so hard in Cabbagetown. Last night made it worth all the effort you have put forth. I thought as I walked to my car last night, if someday we see one of these two young men serving God they will mention that they got saved on December 19, 2009 in Cabbagetown.
That made it worth the financial investment. That made it worth your hours of prayer and practice. That made it worth your trip down every weekend.
God bless each of you today!
