Today’s reading Judges 17-19

Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

There are men doing every thing you can imagine in the days of the book of Judges. They are making their own religions, they are treating women any way they want, they are seeking revenge according to their own lusts and desires.

They did what they believed to be ok in their eyes. It was their call, their choice! They weren’t concerned with God’s will or direction in their lives.

Today many of us live the same way. We little consider what God would have us to do. We do not seek to know Him or His will.

Doing things our way has its own consequences. We needed a Savior because we each went our own way and did our own thing. Jesus died to save us from doing our own thing.

Now decide today to follow Jesus and His Word. Allow His Holy Spirit to work in your life. Let Him direct your paths.
