Baptist Church Vision
Dear brothers, it is a pleasure to be able to address you, knowing about your love towards the work for God and your generosity.
We started our month with a special campaign for Holy week. We had special services at night, and the first Sunday of April we concluded with the topic of Resurrection
Moreover, from the 14th to the 16th we had our Missions Conference, concluding it on the 18th with an attendance of 200 people and a sporty morning. Those days, in the afternoons, we had classes for pastors and our missionaries, going through the topic of Biblical Advisory, besides watching a video against psychiatry. We received 25 pastors who arrived from different parts of our city, besides Lima, Moquegua and Tacna.
We also had our campaign for Holy Week, to which attended many guests, and on Sunday 4th we had a total attendance of 250 people.
We will have just like Smyrna , a very special Sunday on May 9th for mother’s day, with gifts for the mothers at our church who are always helping in their ladies group work and the ministries, without counting the giving of baskets to many of the guest mothers we will have.
This month we were blessed with a special provision, which will make real the purchase of furniture for the school, a total of 30 individual desks, which fills us with joy, and allows us to observe that while our church takes care of others, God takes care of us.
On May 7th we’ll have a special program for mother’s day, in which we’ll give presents to the student’s moms and to our teacher’s who are mothers too.
We continue with our program, every Sunday, from 6 am to 7 am and God willing, we will start a new one on Sunday May 10th, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the AM radio signal. We will be on trial for 2 months. I ask for your prayers.
TRIP TO LIMA
From Thursday the 22nd to Sunday the 25th I was there to teach a Parents School at The Rock Christian Church, this is a Christian church ministry from The Rock Church. Place where I shared the topic of Missions, besides visiting the Christian School New Life from Monterrico.
We were also able to make some contacts for the missionary at the North of Africa, Renzo Zuñiga so he can be able to visit churches and lift up and army of prayers for his future ministry. I ask for your prayers for him as well.
NEW WORK BEREA
We continue with our meetings on Tuesdays at 7pm and Sundays at 3pm, having our best attendance on the second Sunday of April, which was 28 people. This month we will be moving to the second floor of the same house, property of a sister form our church, who will also allow us to use other rooms for daycare and for Sunday school. We hope to start the different classes pretty soon, on Sundays, starting at 2:45pm.
We thank you for your prayers.
