Read this great post by missionary Jeremy Hall written from Peru. I hope you can get this attitude in your life today. Thank you Jeremy. God bless you.
When you hear these words someone is normally having problems. I was counseling a couple last night and these words didn’t actually come from their mouths, but I know they were thinking them. How? because I’ve thought them. I think them on occasion.
Well, after hearing a message last night and meditating on God’s word, I want to tell you what I don’t deserve.
I don’t deserve to be sitting where I’m sitting, doing what I’m doing.
I don’t deserve to have this peace that I have, when so many others are suffering without it.
I don’t deserve to know the Creator personally.
I don’t deserve to have my sins forgiven.
I don’t deserve to know that I will be spending eternity with God.
I don’t deserve a Father like him.
I don’t deserve such favor in my life.
I don’t deserve to have the most beautiful wife in the world.
I don’t deserve to have two beautiful, healthy children.
I don’t deserve the other one that is on the way.
I don’t deserve the friends that God has given me.
I don’t deserve the counsel that he has placed in my life.
I don’t deserve to hear messages of truth over and over again about how good God is when their are so
many that have never heard the first time.I don’t deserve the Spirit within me that fills me with joy.
I could go on and on…..
Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice.
