Today’s reading Job 12-14

Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Job had mad up his mind that He loved God and all about Him. It didn’t matter what God did or allowed to be done to him, Job had decided that he loved Jesus and would let the world know. Our God is worthy to be praised. He can be trusted. He never does anything in our lives that is not for our good and His glory.

We need to make up our mind that no matter what happens we will love and praise Him. We need to magnify our Lord and Saviour. Loving Jesus when every thing is going right doesn’t prove much. Loving Him when others wouldn’t may be a true sign that we love Him.

We do not understand what is happening in our lives. We may question the events of our lives but we can never question our God, His love, His care, and His concern.

That means that our words and attitudes must show that we are trusting Him. We can’t let fear and bitterness take control. We can let our selfishness rise to the top. It must be about Him and His will.

Though He slay me yet will I trust Him must be our testimony!
