Baptist Church Vision
ATLANTA.-

Is a pleasure to be able to address you again. I thank The Lord for your prayers and constant service and testimony. Let me inform you that we finished the month with 413 people in average on Sunday morning between Hunter and Smyrna churches.

On Sunday February 28th we started our new work, where nowadays we have almost 20 people on Sundays at 3pm and 15 people on Tuesdays at 7pm. I ask for your prayers for the new Basptist Church Berea. We have had many guests this month.

Last month we have started classes at our Christian School, with a total of 83 students between Elementary, Middle and High School. I thank the teachers for their selfless work and teaching.

We have also started our month with some workshops for Pastors and graduated college students on March 2nd and 3rd. We alsmot reached 30 brothers and workers, whom which we spent time talking about Spiritual Leadership.

Between the 9th and 11th of March I was at Bethel Baptist Church, in Ayacucho. Aproximately eight hours away from our city. There, we had classes for for workers, leaders and special messages regarding local church work. If it is God’s will, a couple from this church might study in our College this year.

We have started classes at Macedonia Baptist College. This time with a total of 36 students from different parts of our city and Peru, like: San Martin, Lima, Ayacucho, Cusco and Moquegua. Besides, one student from Colombia and one from Honduras.

On Friday 19th we had a sharing time with the pastors of Baptist Church El Salvador. We had an attendance of almost 30 people between pastor, leaders, and wives of pastors.

The 26th, we had a meeting with university studetns at Smyrna with almost 40 people from both churches and some guests. We talked about Creacionism. On May we hope to have the next meeting. The next day, on Saturday March 27th we visited Tiabaya, almost 30brothers from both churches were preaching the gospel there.

Sadly, Pastor Luis Navarro’s mom died on March 29th. He has been working at Baptist Church Hunter with me. It was a sad and difficult moment, but God gave comfort to this family and even in a more special way, since we know that Sister Victoria put her faith in Christ many years ago. She served the Lord loyally and faithfully. We will miss her very much.

This month we started our activities with a campaign for Holy Week where we guests and many decisions taken. We ask for your prayers for the people that visited us. On Friday April 2nd we reached the 300 people between Hunter, Smyrna and Tiabaya.

From April 14th to the 18th we will have our campaign for the anniversary of the Baptist Church Smyrna. We will be 4 years old, and we continue to pursue the work of the Lord. Those same days we will have classes for pastors (Biblical Advisory), from 4 to 6 pm. At night we will have our Conference about Missions. Many pastors from our city and others from Peru have already confirmed their attendance. We will be helping them with their bus tickets to Arequipa.

We currently help missions giving a monthly amount of US$ 960.00 between Hunter and Smyrna churches. We really hope to increase that amount before the end of this year, making a total of 24 missionary brothers who we help.

God willing, I will be in Lima between the 22nd and the 26th of April. I will be visiting The Rock Church (from where we currently have a student attending our College). I will be teaching at their Christian School and preaching about Missions at their church.

Please help us praying for our Radio Ministry which is on the air every Sunday from 6 to 7 am. We receive calls form people who listen to our program and want to learn more. We had a special program on Friday April 2nd, from 8 to 10 am. A widow, who said needed to know more about God, called us. We hope she visits us in the present month.

Blessings,

Miguel Murillo
