Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

This verse is not an excuse verse to not do something or for being able to do something. It is a very strong “individual soul liberty” verse though. Notice that we may have different opinions but it should really be more than an opinion. Notice the word “fully!” We are to be fully persuaded. That means that we have worked hard and studied to arrive at what the Bible says.

It is not a flippant attitude of well you have your opinion and I have mine but rather, I have really studied and continue to study. I believe that this is what God is saying. That is why I am doing it. I am seeking the mind of Christ.

If that isn’t true you should at least begin to work on it. Get in the book. Don’t just do, think, or act a certain way without trying to find the mind of Christ.

Be fully persuaded in your own mind!
