Galatians 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

We all know that we could do nothing to save ourselves. We came to God helplessly asking for grace and mercy that He had already extended. We didn’t offer to pay anything. We just accepted a gift. God is good to us. He saves us because He is good and not us. We would be amaze that anyone could think themselves worthy of salvation.

But if they think that they can please God with effort after they are saved we kind of accept that. We some how think that though we couldn’t get into this life we can maintain it and accomplish it in our strength. We then become either proud or frustrated. We are proud if we live better than others and frustrated when we fail.

Paul calls us foolish. It was grace and His power that saved us and it is grace and His power that will live His life in and through us. We are dead. He is alive. Trust God to give you strength to live for Him and to magnify Him with your life.
